  • Target does not preserve directory timestamps from source
    No error, missing timestamps.

    Known Impact:
    Missing timestamp can prevent user from efficient data
    management.
    
    Verification steps:
    Cross compare timestamp of files between Cache and Home
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • AFM does not keep directory mtime in sync while reading
    the directory contents from the home. This may be a problem
    for some users during the migration.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed the code not to set the directory mtime to the current
    time during the readdir or lookup on the cache fileset during
    the prefetch or readdir.
