Error description

  • Encrypted filesystems do not mount during mksysb restore
due to libclic.c not being loaded properly.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • Failure symptoms might be install failure with:
Restore: No space left on device

Even if the above failure does not occur there will be
encrypted files under root - not in encrypted file systems.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is to provide the support for encrypted file sytems in
the NIM mksysb SPOT which are then used during the install to
create and mount encrypted file systems.
