Applications using JFS2 may hang under heavy I/O load on the same file as a truncate occurs. The truncate thread will be stuck on the PAGER_MLOCK and all the "j2pg" threads will be occupied.

Applications using JFS2 may hang under heavy I/O load on the same file as a truncate occurs. The truncate thread will be stuck on the PAGER_MLOCK and all the "j2pg" threads will be occupied.
Problem conclusion
Reorient the pager service queues to handle the pageout before waiting for the pageins.
