Image Services: COLD - A new option has been added to the cold_3770 process to automatically retry opening the data file directory in case of an error.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Previously to FileNet Image Services 4.1.2 FP16 and 4.2.0 FP6, if the cold_3770 daemon process encountered an error while opening the directory where the COLD data files reside, an error would be logged and the process would terminate. The entries written to the FileNet Image Services error log were: 2012/11/05 06:09:21.478 169,2,3 cold_3770.exe -d \\aaunswm30\sgs\prod\cold  (11048.13616.3606 0x2b28.3530) ... E:\fnsw\bin\cold_3770.exe: opening \\aaunswm30\sgs\prod\cold\* (error 0x40) 2012/11/05 06:09:21.536 169,2,3 cold_3770.exe -d \\aaunswm30\sgs\prod\cold  (11048.13616.3606 0x2b28.3530) ... Failed in cold_3770. Error = Error = <169,2,3> cold_3770: error opening directory.
