IV88980: AFTER LKU ROLLBACK, MISSING DUMP LV COPY, OR LOG RMLVCOPY ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This only occurs during a rollback.
  
  1) If the customer runs mklvcopy on an LV in rootvg designated
  as a dump device and not used for paging but doesn't mirror the
  rest of rootvg, his manual copy will be removed by unmirrorvg
  during rollback.
  
  2) If the customer does not mklvcopy such an LV and also does
  not mirror the rest of rootvg, lvupdlog shows
  
  0516-681 rmlvcopy: Name provided is of illegal length or
  content.  0516-922 rmlvcopy: Unable to remove logical partition
  copies from logical volume lg_dumplv.
  
  for rmlvcopy run after unmirrorvg.
