Taking an iptrace when using an adapter using shientdd results in all out going packets being seen twice in the packet capture. When using an adapter using the elxentdd driver, the duplication is not seen.

Problem conclusion
Entcore is fixed to ignore packet tracing when device is under SEA or etherchannel.
