APAR status

Error description

  • During a replace repository disk operation, the chrepos
-c
command incorrectly stores the NODE_LOCAL flag value to
the repository disk. Consequently, this unexpected value
may
cause the remote node to fail the ADD_NODE DO_CAA event
and thus prevents the remote node from being able to join
the cluster.

Problem summary

  • Attempting to add a node to a CAA cluster may fail.
Unicast connections may fail to connect.

Problem conclusion

  • During read/write operations to ther repository, strip out any
inappropriately set flags.
