Internet Explorer APPCRASH at start performance test recorder against Siebel

Troubleshooting


Problem

Attempts to start the IBM Rational Performance Tester (RPT) recorder by opening the Siebel URL through Internet Explorer result in APPCRASH of IEXPLORER.EXE.

Symptom

Internet Explorer 8.0 seem to crash when launching Siebel v8.1.1 web application.
