Error description

• At z/OS 2.2 (HBB77A0), PFA experiences an Abend9C6 RSN0030000A.
  This occurs with the PFA_COMMON_STORAGE_USAGE check as it
  performs the first collection after the DIAGxx setting of VSM
  TRACK has CSA, SQA, or both set to OFF.  This collection may be
  the first collection after PFA is started if it was set prior to
  PFA being started.
  
  Following the abend, PFA hangs and latch contention is observed
  with d grs,c

Local fix

• 1. Cancel PFA to eliminate the Latch Contention
  2. Create or modify your DIAGxx to include:
     VSM TRACK CSA(ON) SQA(ON)
  3. Dynamically put this new DIAGxx in effect:
     SET DIAG=xx
  4. Restart PFA

  PFA_COMMON_STORAGE_USAGE check.
  The abend only occurs if installation has a DIAGxx setting
  with the VSM TRACK setting having CSA(OFF), SQA(OFF) or both
  set to OFF such as VSM TRACK CSA(OFF) SQA(OFF).  After the
  abend PFA hangs because of latch contention.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to prevent the abend condition.
