OA46752: LOOP IN AIRHMCHK PREDICTIVE FAILURE ANALYSIS (PFA) AT SHUTDOWN

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After issuing a P PFA command , to terminate, PFA went into a
  infinite loop.  In this case, module AIRHMCHK (UA68161) was
  looping between offsets 29E=2FE and 61A-622. The STOP was issued
  while there was a PFAn (where n is a numbner 1-9) address space
  active. The loop occurs in the PFA parent address space.
  
  Additional symptoms:
  AbendA03 may be seen in PFA address space
  

Local fix

• Cancel and Force of both PFA and PFAn address space

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to close the timing window.
