Problem
Unable to create service receipts in labor reporting after upgrade.
Symptom
In previous versions of Maximo the users would record a PO for service lines. Then approve the labor in Labor reporting application, we were able to create service receipt from the select action menu. The system would record the service receipts in SERVRECTRANS table automatically so that the users could perform the invoice against it.
The advantage we had is that each lines of the PO attached to that labor was automatically updated with real hours and amounts that were approved.
At the reception, we had no adjustments to do. We'd just select those lines and complete the reception.
The approval is done by the manager and only then, the clerk would receipt and complete the transactions.
Maximo Version 6 and 7 do NOT have this option. There is no action within labor reporting to pull in the Purchase Order Lines.
