Error description

  • When we use snmptrap command to send a message, snmptrap
adds a blank space at the end.
For example, this command:

# /usr/sbin/snmptrap -h <hostname> -o
".1.3.6.1.4.1.4243.15" -m "MyTestTrap"

The customer takes iptrace when executing the above
command and analyzes iptrace,
he/she can see a space being added  at the end of
"MyTestTrap" message.

security concern of displaying
hostname/ipaddress
