  • If you link objects created with the V10 C/C++ compiler and
use the -bstabcmpct:2 flag, an error message is printed,
similar to:
ld: 0711-377 STABSTRING ERROR:  Symbol table entry xx,
object file xxx.o.  Type zz has multiple definitions.

Problem summary


    

  • If you link objects created with the V10 C/C++ compiler and
use the -bstabcmpct:2 flag, an error message is printed,

Problem conclusion


    

  • Allow some stabstrings to have duplicate definitions if the
first definition is a special forward-reference definition.
