Problem
Why am I not able to retrieve older versions of a document in the version history dialog box in the Document Manager Desktop client (DM Desktop)?
Symptom
Older versions of a document do not show in the Version History dialog, however, they are shown in the Life Cycle dialog's Version History tab.
Resolving The Problem
A possible cause is that the document's class was changed to a new class belonging to a different item type using Power Modify or another method. When a document's item type is changed, Content Managers behavior is to re-index the item. If a version-enabled item is re-indexed, all previous versions of the item are automatically deleted.
