PI32316: IMAP SERVER ACCEPT IS CANCELLED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The z/VM IMAP server very intermittantly can lose its accept and
  stop accepting new connections.  When this condition occurs,
  IMAP clients are unable to connect to the IMAP server and the
  following error messages are displayed on the IMAP server
  console:

     DTCIMP5008E Error on socket call: PS_accept rc=1009
  .
     DTCIMP5014E <ip_address> Error on socket call: PS_async_read
      rc=54

Problem conclusion

• Code in the IMAPListen routine in IMAPLSTN C has been updated
  to re-post the PS_accept in the event that the accept gets
  dropped due to a cancel (errno = EIBMRQSTCANCELLED.)
