Error description

  • CTL-3 in CGTC after PI13194.
Before calling CGTT (in CGTM) CGTC saves the second base
register R04 in R15. The above APAR added a FINPC to
CGTM that uses R15.

CTL-3 can occur on ZTRAC commands after PI13194 is applied.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • CGTC saves its second base register (R04) in R15 over the
call to CGTT (a TRANV in CGTM).
PI13194 added a FINPC to test for a user exit to CGTM
which uses R15.
This fix changes CGTC to save R04 in the ECB user save
area CE1UR4 rather than use R15.
