APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During z/OSMF ISPF plug-in startup a TSO ping is issued in
    error.  There are no external error messages and the messages
    are only written to the IZUGx.log files.
    
    ANALYSIS:
    After startup you will see the following messages in the
    IZUGx.log file:
    
    CEA TSO launcher called function: CEA_TSO_PING, returned reason
    code: 0x100a, diagnostic codes: 0x13, 0x1, 0x0, 0x0
    
    KNOWN IMPACT:
    None.  z/OSMF ISPF functions fine.
    
    VERIFICATION STEPS:
    the USERDIR/data/logs/IZUGx.log files would contain the
    following message:
    
    CEA TSO launcher called function: CEA_TSO_PING, returned reason
    code: 0x100a, diagnostic codes: 0x13, 0x1, 0x0, 0x0
    

Local fix

  • BYPASS/CIRCUMVENTION:
    None required as there is no function loss

Problem conclusion

  • It has been fixed by calling
    the updated TSO launcher
     interface.
