Problem

Inbound IDOCS go to the wrong SAP instance

Symptom

Gentran:Server for UNIX;All Releases
Advanced Data Distribution
EC Workbench
Process Control Manager
SAP Extension

Two SAP Instances reside on the same server.
IDOCs using an inbound route defined in SAP Configuration go to the wrong SAP instance.

SAP Gateway Service - Gateway service entry in /etc/services on the Gentran:Server host. If left blank, the gateway service is derived from the two-digit system ID in the form sapgw<system id>.
SAP System ID Number - Two-digit system ID. Can be found in SAP as the third part of the system name field on SM51.

Error Message

No error messages.

Cause: In the inbound route defined in SAP Configuration, the SAP Gateway Service and the SAP System ID Number values are incorrect.
