Problem

Discrepancy between X12Deenvelope compliance check and Translation Service validation

Symptom

When running a document through a map during X12Deenvelope, the document fails with a compliance error: Transaction-Non-Compliant (Handled in Error BP).

When running the same document through Translation Service with validate_input set to Yes, the Translation service completes successfully (though the output is incorrect)
 

Error Message

X12Deenvelope returns a non-compliance report containing the following input error:
