APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
The service stack is unable to acquire an address via DHCP for
LAN console access if the adapter is shared with the system
TCP/IP stack.

CORRECTION FOR APAR MA37370 :
-----------------------------
While sharing, only packets to an active address on the service
stack are delivered to the service stack. The DHCP responses may
be sent to the proposed address, causing them to not be
delivered to the service stack. This fix allows DHCP responses
to be delivered to the service stack whether the destination
address is active or not. This will allow DHCP to complete
without affecting the system stack processing of any packets.

CIRCUMVENTION FOR APAR MA37370 :
--------------------------------
The service stack can be configured with a static IP address, or
the LAN console session can be established before the system
TCP/IP stack begins sharing the adapter.
