Special Instructions

If this PTF is applied or removed as a "Delayed" PTF, which requires
an IPL, no special consideration is necessary. If this PTF is applied
or removed "Immediate", you must first end all of the PSF writer using
PDF support or end the QSPL subsystem. When the writers are
started again, the PTF code will be active.

If this PTF is installed on V6R1 or later the program object shipped in
this PTF will be converted by the operating system the first time the
updated program is executed. This can cause a delay in starting the
writer such that the writer may terminate due to a timeout. One way to
avoid this is to execute the following command after installing the
PTF:
STROBJCVN OPTION(*CONVERT) LIB(QIPS) OBJTYPE(*ALLPGM).
This will cause the program object to be converted. MSGCPIB0DC can
be ignored. There will not be any delay then in starting any writers
configured for PDF processing.

********************************************************************
THE FOLLOWING ARE SUPERSEDED SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. IF THE SUPERSEDED
PTF HAS ALREADY BEEN APPLIED AND ITS SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOLLOWED,
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO FOLLOW THAT SPECIAL INSTRUCTION AGAIN.
