Error 0X800706BA the RPC server is unavailable when going into audit log DHCP (6007)

Symptom

When trying to access the audit log, on a 2000 server, with a 2000 client attached, the following error 0X800706BA the RPC server is unavailable is received when going into audit log.
Error 0X800706BA the RPC server is unavailable.
DHCP RPC Server unavailable When trying to access audit log from client
