Whenever we use the Sourcing Rules while scheduling an Order. System will check for the Sourced From List if there is no Ship Node stamped in the Orderline.
So now if customer has selected in Sourcing Rule for Product Being Shipped>And Product is Being shipped To>This Region>>Region1.
Then while sourcing the inventory for the order demand, system will check for this filter condition.
Region in Sterling can be defined a set of Zip Codes. Hence,Sterling while checking out the provided zip code from Order with the reference region as in sourcing Rules will decided upon either it should provide the sourcing option or not.
Region Definition can done in Application Platform >Region Definition >Region Levels; Region Match Preferences. These regions can all be grouped according to a logical Order in a Schema.
The Schema Details can be created in Application Platform >Region Schema Details.
Furthermore, we can select the defined Schemas under Region Usage For Sourcing in DOM>Cross Application>Order Promising>Sourcing and Scheduling.
