APAR Error Description / Circumvention

-----------------------------------------------
The System i Access for Windows cwbx ActiveX automation objects
are being used to create a library on the iSeries using remote
command functionality. The system is Japanese and using a DBCS
primay language. The text of the library is using double byte
characters. Starting at 6.1 the remote command server is
allowing the commands to be sent to the server in CCSID 1200 and
1208. The ActiveX object sends the test in CCSID 1208 (UTF-8).
This text is passed internally to the command analyzer which
isn't propery handling the conversion from UTF-8 to the DBCS
EBCDIC equivalent. The result is that the text on the library is
incorrect.

CORRECTION FOR APAR SE37968 :
-----------------------------
Command Analyzer will change to convert the input strings to the
job CCSID when the parameter is defined as CCSID(*JOB) and the
input command string is in UTF-8.
Also, Command Analyzer will correctly allow the use of extended
alphabetic characters #, @, and $ in parameter values coded with
CCSID(*JOB) when the input command string is either UTF-8 or
UTF-16.
