Troubleshooting
Problem
If a syslog-ng log target becomes unavailable, the IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliance internal resources may be consumed when running Firmware 4.0.2 or earlier.
Symptom
If a DataPower appliance is reporting an unexpectedly high level of internal resources is being consumed, has an unexpected restart, or the appliance becomes unresponsive when a remote syslog-ng log target has become unavailable, then this may be the possible cause.
