Reports - Rich Text Formatting

News

Abstract

Beginning in the Version 7.5 release, you can input rich text in the long description fields of applications. This enables you to highlight critical information for your users. The information can then be displayed in this format in its corresponding report.

Content

You can use rich text formatting to highlight critical information to users, for example by configuring text to use colors, bold font or italics. This rich text that you input in the various applications, can then be displayed in their corresponding reports.

Rich Text formatting has been included in any delivered reports which use the long description fields. You can find out which specific reports these are by accessing the V75 Report Booklet here

Additionally, you may have created custom reports which include the long description field. You will need to update these custom reports to use rich text formatting.

For more details, and instructions on how to update your custom reports to utilize Rich Text Formatting, download the 'V75 Report Developer's Guide' available here
