Ad Hoc Reporting (QBR): Multiple Object Use within ROS

News

Abstract

In the 7.5 Release, the Ad Hoc (QBR) Functionality has been extended to enable multiple objects to be used within a single Report Object Structure

Content

As the building blocks to Maximo's Ad hoc reporting tool, QBR (Query Based Reporting),
Report Object Structures (ROS) enable you to select fields from multiple categories (objects) for your ad hoc reports. Additionally, ROS enable you to visualize application categories and their parent/child relationships. These categories are displayed via a category tree drilldown in the Select Tab of the QBR window in the top left hand side.

In the 7.5 release, the ROS functionality has been extended to enable you to use the same object multiple times within an individual ROS. An example of how this can be used is shown below where the Labor Object is used multiple times with

Enabling the use of the same object multiple times enables your users greater flexibility in utilizing this functionality.
