Problem
On a filter agains a query item defined as type DATETIME2 or DATE, a UDA error about data types not matching is returned
Symptom
When using the data types DATETIME2 or DATE in a query item coming from SQL Server 2008, a filter expression like this one returns an error:
[Query Subject].[Date] = '2009-12-31 00:00:00:000'
Error message as follows:
RQP-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-126'
UDA-SQL-0460 A general exception has occurred during local processing.
UDA-EE-0094 The operation "greater" is invalid for the following combination of data types "timestamp2" and "character"
