IBM App Connect Enterprise 11 - BIP8477E No global cache catalog server endpoints were found

Troubleshooting


Problem

The GlobalCache was enabled on YAML file, but the Catalog Server is not being started.
Some evidences indicating the Global Cache is not running:
- Error when running the mqsicacheadmin command:
C:\Program Files\IBM\ACE\11.0.0.7\server> mqsicacheadmin TESTGC -c listHosts
BIP8477E: No global cache catalog server endpoints were found.
- Error when trying to send a message to the message flow:
BIP7191E: The message flow failed to connect to the global cache.  The global cache &apos;cacheOn&apos; property is set to false. All cache components are unavailable. : MbCacheManager.java: 759: getConnection: : </text></detail>

Symptom

The expected port for the Global Cache is not listed in the netstat -an output.
