Running a query with date-based filters created in older ClearQuest clients results in incorrect data sets

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you run a query with date-based filters which was created in IBM Rational ClearQuest 7.0.x or older in a Rational ClearQuest 7.1.x client, the resulting data set may be incorrect.

Symptom

If a saved query with a date/time filter was originally created in Rational ClearQuest clients earlier than 7.1.x, it may return a result set which is not the filter suggests when executed in a Rational ClearQuest 7.1.x client.

Note: The query does return a result set without any errors. You will only notice the problem when you compare the results with the intended filter value.

This issue does not affect the Rational ClearQuest Eclipse or Web client applications.
