Is there a way to easily associate commonly used asset information to multiple asset records?
Answer
Yes. You can easily associate commonly used asset information to multiple asset records using the Asset Template application. This allows you to create a single template that can include asset details
(asset type, manufacturer, vendor etc.), spare parts, associated master PMs, meters/meter groups, specifications/classifications, as well as calibration specific details and data sheets.
Once the template has been created and its status has been set to active, you can use the "Select Action" menu to either generate multiple new asset records or apply the template to existing assets.
Generating new assets using the template:
