Troubleshooting
Problem
Users who do not have access to DataStage encounter the following error message when executing the following dsjob command to produce a job report file:
dsjob -logdetail
Resolving The Problem
The following permissions must be set in the DSEngine directory:
- The group other must be set to r-x for all files in this directory.
- The unohist file must have permissions of rw-rw- rw- (666).
- In $DSHOME/catdir following permissions must be set as follows:
chmod -R o+w *
