Unable to perform security functions: TM1 Server "Security", "Clients/Groups" menu option is grayed out or missing

Troubleshooting


Problem

This issue occurs despite the connected user being part of the ADMIN group.
In TM1 Architect or TM1 Perspectives Server Explorer, Server 'Security', 'Clients/Groups' menu option is missing.
It is not possible to edit or create any objects (cube, dimension, process, rule, and so on)
