FileNet Image Services introduces support for Tivoli TSM Client API v.6.2.0.0 for DR550

FileNet Image Services 4.1.2 FP8 introduces support for Tivoli TSM Client API v.6.2.0.0 for the IBM DR550 storage repository. Image Services Integral SDS and SDS_ISAR_reader (for NLS/SDS documents) supports the new client on Windows, AIX, and Solaris servers.

It is NOT be supported on HP-UX or HP-Integrity servers.

Before you install this TSM release, back up the original versions of the affected files..

After the installation, remove or rename the /fnsw/local/logs/sds/SDSw_tivoliDR directory, and the
/fnsw/client/logs/sdst directory (if SDS_tool is used) before starting FileNet Image Services.

After the installation on AIX and Solaris servers, link to the location of the new files.

For example (customer TSM Client API installation location may differ):

ln -s /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/EN_US /fnsw/lib/SDSw_tivoliDR/EN_US
ln -s /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/EN_US /fnsw/lib/IBM_DR550/EN_US (if SDS_ISAR_reader is used)
ln -s /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin/EN_US /fnsw/lib/IBM_DR550/en_US (if SDS_ISAR_reader is used)

After the installation on Windows servers, copy the new files to the FileNet Image Services directories. Files involved are in \fnsw\lib\shobj: dsmntapi.dll, tsmapi.dll, and tsmutil1.dll; in \fnsw\lib\sdsw_tivolidr: dscenu.txt; and, if SDS_ISAR_reader is used, in \fnsw\lib\IBM_DR550: dscenu.txt.
