Troubleshooting


Problem

A user received Failed to connect to vworbbroker error when clicking on FileNet® Process Engine (PE) Tasks from the Workplace.

Symptom

Here is the excerpt of the p8Workplace.log :


    Root Exception:
    Failed to connect to vworbbroker on load balancer:32776[1]. Check server connection.
    filenet.pe.peorb.client.ORBServiceHelper$NameServerNotStarted: Failed to connect to vwior. URL=http://load balancer:32776/IOR/FileNet.PE.vworbbroker. Check PE server to make sure that vwior process is started. java.net.SocketException: Connection timed out:could be due to invalid address.
