Abstract

CLONE VM FAILED! ERROR: A SPECIFIED PARAMETER WAS NOT CORRECT.

Error Description

A client running IBM Cloud Orchestrator 2.4.0 is getting this  
error:                                                          
                                                               
nova boot or via the ICO UI (VSP classic) both try to clone the
template on the vCenter, but result in an error in vCenter -->  
"A                                                              
specified parameter was not correct. spec.location.folder".    
Cloning the images using the scoadmin account directly in      
vCenter works fine.                                            
                                                               
The underlying error found is for the vmware driver.
