Running the addPerson transaction with Suspect Duplicate Processing (SDP) configured "ON" fails to update the existing record and causes a PartyId does not match error message to appear in the response XML.

Troubleshooting

Problem

Running the addPerson transaction with SDP configured "ON" fails to update the existing record and causes a PartyId does not match error message to appear in the response XML. The steps to replicate the scenario are to add Person #1, then add a different Person #2, then add the same Person #1 again.

Symptom

You will find the following error messages in the response XML and in the log file, such as customer.log in debug mode, after adding Person #1 the second time:

Error message in the response XML:

[Error_DWLErrorMessageComponent_ErrorMessage:] The error message for the following parameters is not defined in the database. ComponentId = 1008; error code = FVERR; reason code = 1641; error message type = Update of the PersonName failed. PartyId in the PersonName does not match with PartyId supplied.

Error message in the customer.log in debug mode:

DEBUG com.dwl.tcrm.coreParty.controller.TCRMCorePartyTxnBean - 1008 FVERR 1641 [Error_DWLErrorMessageComponent_ErrorMessage:] The error message for the following parameters is not defined in the database. ComponentId = 1008; error code = FVERR; reason code = 1641; error message type = Update of the PersonName failed. PartyId in the PersonName does not match with PartyId supplied.
