Controller data entry forms showing error message or garbage language when personal setting is simplified Chinese(ZH)

Troubleshooting


Problem

Customer would like to have company names and/or account names using the simplified Chinese language. The end user changes his/her 'personal defaults' setting so that the language is ZH. However: * When the user opens a data entry form they receive an error * In addition, they see garbage output (for example strange/weird characters like ??? after Chinese characters) for the Chinese account names.

Symptom

If company name is Chinese, user receives error message opening data entry form:
