How to install ITCAM Domino agent v6.21 FP02 on Linux machine and do basic configuration to recieve data in TEP?

After a while we released new version of Domino agent 6.21 FP02 which is part of ITCAM for Applications 7.2.1.2. You can read more about this release on below url:

Download Tivoli Composite Application Manager Agent for Lotus® Domino® 6.2.1 Fix Pack 2 from Passport Advantage site

After downloading image extract it to your temporary directory. After that navigate to <temp_dir>\ and execute install.sh file to start installation process.

After successful installation open Manage Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Service (MTEMS) using itmcmd manage command where you can see Domino agent template from which you create agent instances.

To create instance right click in Domino agent template and select Configure Using Defaults. After Entering a Unique instance name, in my case Domino

following window will appear:

Monitored Domino Server Name: This field is the canonical or abbreviated Domino Server name that you  want to monitor. This name can be a local server where the agent is installed or a remote server not located on this computer. You can your check your Server name with command "show server" from Domino server prompt.

Full path to the local notes.ini file: (KGB_NOTESINIPATH) should be the path to the Domino Server's notes.ini file, NOT the Notes Client's notes.ini file. Path should not contain notes.ini file
KGB_NOTESINIPATH=/local/notesdata

When all required parameters are set finish configuration with OK button.

When agent is started workspaces will show:
