DXL error: "Badly formed token (EOF)" when using IBM Rational DOORS

Troubleshooting


Problem

The DXL error "badly formed token (EOF)" is seen when running DXL script or using the IBM Rational DOORS Extension Language Encryption Tool

Symptom

You have customized DXL scripts encrypted from the previous version(s) of Telelogic DOORS, for example: v7.x or 8.x and migrated to IBM Rational DOORS 9.1 or newer version.

Then you try to run the encrypted DXLs into Rational DOORS 9.x and received following error message:
