Pack for SAP R/3: Job parameter selection window appears behind the stage window

Problem

IBM InfoSphere Information Server Pack for SAP R/3, Version 6.5, introduces a feature that enables quick parameter selection for parameter-enabled text entry fields, such as, SAP user name. When you double-click the text field, a small window opens with a list of currently available parameters. You can click the parameter to automatically enter it into the text field. A minor issue with this feature is that in rare cases, if you click the main stage window directly after double-clicking a parameter-enabled text field, the parameter selection window appears behind the stage window.

Symptom

The job parameter selection window appears behind the stage window and remains open after closing the InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage Designer client.

You can continue working with the stage and another copy of the selection window can be opened immediately. However, the parameter selection window will remain open and might cause a DSDesign.exe process to remain active even after the main InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage Designer client window is closed.
