How do you identify if the Dongle license for Rational SDL suite is configured correctly?
Answer
Rational SDL suite supports USB Dongle license.
Once the Dongle license setup is complete and a license file is generated, you can check and identify if the license is configured correctly following the steps below:
- Open LMTOOLS > System settings.
Note: You must have LMTOOLS (Rational License Server) installed on your machine.
- Compare the Flex ID in the FLEXID section. If the Flex ID of the Dongle matches with your USB Dongle Flex ID, this identifies that the dongle is recognized by the license server.
- Ensure that the path to the license file is set in TELELOGIC_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.
- Launch Rational SDL suite.
- Go to Help > License Information and check the license details
