Summary
Guardium S-TAP is designed to minimize impact to monitored databases and servers. Extensive testing is performed to ensure this is the case. However, in rare situations there can be problems where performance or availability is affected by the S-TAP. These cases are handled with the highest priority by Guardium support and development. If the problem occurs on a production server, it is treated as a severity 1.
