Database monitor / SQL Performance monitor users have been able to see the number of result rows for DML statements by examining the QQI2 column where QQRID=1000. (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/MERGE).
The monitor support has been enhanced to return result rows information for other statements.
QQI2 Description
Number of result rows returned.
- SQL DML statements (INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/MERGE) - the total number of rows changed.
- CREATE TABLE AS and DECLARE GLOBAL TEMPORARY TABLE where WITH DATA is used - the total number of rows inserted into the table.
- Any other Query-based statement - the estimated number of rows for the resulting query.
- All remaining statements - either 0 (old monitor) or NULL (not applicable) will be seen.
