CHGPFM and CHGLFM UNIT support
Content
You are in: IBM i Technology Updates > Db2 for i - Technology Updates > Db2 for i Functional Enhancements > CHGPFM and CHGLFM UNIT support
CHGPFM and CHGLFM commands can now be used to move an individual member to or from SSD by changing the media preference. One of the main benefits of using these commands is that they do not require a LENR lock. They will conflict with another job that has an *SHRNUP, *EXCLRD, or *EXCL lock on the data, however. An exclusive seize is acquired by SLIC DB to actually move the data.

If the user is using logical replication, you will need the PTFs on the target as well as the source system.
