ICC: Retrieving Version Information

One of the more frequent requests that come in from Product Support while troubleshooting issues with IBM Content Collector (ICC) is to obtain the version information for all installed IBM Content Collector components. This blog will show you how to get this done in easy steps.

Use the Component Version Report tool to retrieve component version information.
Procedure:
In the Configuration Manager:
1).select Help > Component Version Report.
2). Click Retrieve to retrieve the version information. This can take several minutes.
3). When the report is available, click Report to open the report in the default text editor
4). The report is ready to be uploaded to your PMR via ecurep. http://www.ecurep.ibm.com/app/upload
