Summary

Here are the steps to migrate LogAnalysis from older versions to 1.3.8.x. Note that, to upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.5, 1.3.5.1, 1.3.5.2, or 1.3.5.3 to Log Analysis 1.3.7 you must first upgrade to Log Analysis 1.3.6, and then ensure that your collections have Apache Solr 7.x index format. Indexes created with an Apache Solr version older than 7.x are not supported in Log Analysis 1.3.7. Hence, the upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.6 to 1.3.7 should only be completed after the old indexes or collections that were migrated from previous versions to 1.3.6 are deleted or removed.

In 1.3.8.x it uses indexes in Apache Solr 9.x format, ensure that your Log Analysis is at version 1.3.7.2 before migrating to version 1.3.8.0. Indexes created with an Apache Solr version older than 8.10 are not supported in Log Analysis 1.3.8.0. Hence, to upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.7.2 to 1.3.8.0 successfully, all older indexes or collections that were migrated from Log Analysis 1.3.7.1 or earlier must be deleted or removed.
