Summary
Here are the steps to migrate LogAnalysis from older versions to 1.3.8.x. Note that in order to upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.5, 1.3.5.1, 1.3.5.2, or 1.3.5.3 to Log Analysis 1.3.7 you must first upgrade to Log Analysis 1.3.6, and then ensure that your collections all have Apache Solr 7.x index format. Indexes created with an Apache Solr version older than 7.x are not supported in Log Analysis 1.3.7. Hence, the upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.6 to 1.3.7 should only be completed after the old indexes or collections that were migrated from previous versions to 1.3.6 are deleted or removed.
In 1.3.8.x it uses indexes in Apache Solr 9.x format, ensure that your Log Analysis is at version 1.3.7.2 before migrating to version 1.3.8.0. Indexes created with an Apache Solr version older than 8.10 are not supported in Log Analysis 1.3.8.0. Hence, to upgrade from Log Analysis 1.3.7.2 to 1.3.8.0 successfully all older indexes or collections that were migrated from Log Analysis 1.3.7.1 or earlier must be deleted or removed.
Objective
Migrate data and upgrade Log Analysis from an earlier version (1.3.2 or 1.3.3) to Log Analysis-1.3.8.0
Note - Log Analysis 1.3.3 and 1.3.4 have the same code base. The migration procedure for 1.3.4 is the same as the migration procedure for 1.3.3.

Steps:
1. Backup 1.3.2 LA data by using backup and restore scripts
2. Install 1.3.3 LA (fresh build)
3. Move the backed up, compressed files to the <Backup_dir> on your Log Analysis 1.3.3 Log Analysis server
4. Restore the data on the Log Analysis server 1.3.3
5. Backup 1.3.3 LA data by using backup and restore script
6. Install Log Analysis 1.3.5 (fresh build)
7. Move the backed up, compressed files to the <Backup_dir> on your Log Analysis 1.3.5 Log Analysis server

1. Backup 1.3.3/1.3.4 LA data by using backup and restore scripts
2. Install Log Analysis 1.3.5 (fresh build)

4. Restore the data on the Log Analysis server 1.3.5

After upgrading to Log Analysis 1.3.7.2, download 1.3.x-TIV-IOALA-IF1-Log4j-solr to apply log4j fix on Apache Solr (if it is not already install).

Fixpack 1.3.7 installation will only continue if Solr Collections were created using Solr v7.x. If Collections were migrated from previous LogAnalysis versions to versions 1.3.5.3, 1.3.6 or 1.3.6.1, then wait until these older collections are deleted by cron job (if it exists) based on your retention period, or you can manually delete these collections before installing Fixpack 1.3.7. The error message '--CANNOT MIGRATE --' is displayed for Collections that cannot be migrated.****Fixpack 1.3.8 installation will only continue if Solr Collections were created by Solr v8.10 or later. If Collections were migrated from previous LogAnalysis versions to versions 1.3.7.0, or 1.3.7.1, then wait until these older collections are deleted by cron job (if it exists) based on your retention period, or you can manually delete these collections before installing Fixpack 1.3.8.
