How to set a NULL value to a field using an Escalation

You need to create an Action point and an Escalation

In this example I am setting a null value for a worktype which is 'CM' and status is 'APPR' for the BEFORD site.

1. Go to Action Application and create an action
Object: workorder
Type: set value
value: ''   single quotes no space
Parameter/Attribute: worktype

2. Go to Escalation application and create an Escalation
Applied to Workorder
Condition: siteid ='BEDFORD' and status ='APPR' and worktype ='CM'
Schedule: 1m

3. Apply the Action to the Escalation with the condition.

Add a new row for an Escalation point you can leave this blank
Click on the new row for Action to associate the Action you created

4. Save the changes

Click on Select Action to validate the Escalation and after successful validation activate the Escalation.

5. Before and after if query the application you will see the below results
