Abstract

Property mxe.db.user was not found in the properties file

Hello all, this document provides information about the error message above, during build and deploy of Maximo ear file.

 While perfoming a build & deploy of Maximo EAR files, you may face a scenario where apparently the build & deploy process works fine, however, in the maximo log files you will see some errors as below :

Error on log:

NOTE : If you check MAXPROP and MAXPROPVALUE tables, you will see there actually a current value for the given property above.

 

Resolution:

In order to resolves this case, you may want to check for duplicate maximo.properties file in the Application Server, for example, you may have a standard maximo.properties file, however in some other folder in the Application Server there is probably another maximo.properties file, not being used, but the operating system is using it. (for example, when you create a file backup)
