Maximo® for Service Providers 7.6.3 introduces new features that enhance estimates and customer billing.
Apply customer agreements to work orders
In the Work Order Tracking application, you can now apply customer agreements and price schedules to one or more work orders or child work orders simultaneously. This enhancement enables you to calculate the price of transactions and apply pricing rules to labor, materials, tools, and services transactions that are on work orders. Enhancements to sales orders
In the Sales Orders application, you can now sell materials. You can specify a type for reported fees and charges so that service providers can sell parts directly to customers and bill customers for the service. Also, customers can retrieve purchased parts from an onsite counter or have the purchased parts shipped to the customer location. Learn more about sales orders.
Split bills for services among multiple customers
In the Work Orders application, you can now charge portions of billable transactions to multiple customers so that services that are rendered among multiple customers are paid correctly.
Record service provider details in the Organizations (SP) application
In the About Us window, you can specify information about your organization. You can store information, such as your contact details, slogan, and banking information, so that these details are ready to use on customer estimates, bills, and communication templates. View summaries of customer estimates
The new Customer Estimates section on service requests improves visibility of completed estimates for all of the work orders and child work orders that are associated with the service request. You can determine whether any related requests are pending or ready for review, and you can view the sum of all pending or approved estimates that are listed in the table. Updated reporting on customer estimates and customer billing
